Hi,
I have two CE-2 pedals, a MIJ and a MIT. But I only have one box, and I can't recall which pedal it goes with.
Is there a way to tell?
The box has the 'Boss 5 year warranty' sticker on top.
There's no barcodes at all on the sides.
The short sides of the top of box are white, with the long sides of the top being blue.
No 'Use PSA adapter' notice, of course (both pedals are ACA).
No other text on the box sides other than Boss CE-2 Chorus.
There's a volume 4 Boss Pocket Dictionary book inside, which would date the book to May 1987 onwards, but I can't remember if this was in the box originally or not...There's also annoyingly a random DS-1 instruction booklet in there from April '87 :\
My MIT CE-2 is a green label, serial A944188. https://serial-number-decoder.co.uk/boss/boss.htm doesn't seem to recognise this.
My MIJ's serial sticker looks to have been destroyed by some sort of previous battery leak.
I have some other Japanese pedals with boxes, but they are both different to each other and different to the CE-2 box...
My MIJ LM-2 Limiter has 'MADE IN JAPAN' written on the side of the box.
My MIJ CE-3 Chorus has 'Roland JAPAN' written on the side.
My phone is crap so I haven't included any pictures of the box but I can do so if that'd help.
Pedal box - can you tell if its MIJ or MIT?

Strange. I had thought that someone who definitely knows it could have posted an answer in the meantime.
Is a search at Reverb an option? Maybe you can verify which pedal belongs into that box if you see several pictures of pedals including the box.
