Hey!!! I'm right here ;)
 Yes, and I'm glad you sensed some humor in my post.

So, Laurie; would you mind commenting on the difference between the PH-1 and the PH-1R, please? I hear that you're prefering the PH-1 now. Is that correct?

Is it true that the PH-1R is essentially the same as the PH-1, but with an added Resonance control? If so, shouldn't the PH-1R be the preferred pedal?
There is something missing in the PH-1R. That shouldn't be the case - the schematics are very close. It might be the subtle difference in the FET drive? The PH-1 just seems to have depth that the PH-1R lacks.

I am dead set on an AC-2 acoustic simulator all of the sudden. I just learned of a working volume boost mod so I'll snatch one when it comes along. I've gotten a lot of use from the behringer version, sometimes it is past midnight and a true acoustic is actually too loud to rock.

I bought the ODB-3 and the BF-2 twice cause I regretted selling them. :(
I just wish I kept my PH-1r, it's a great bass phaser!

I'd agree here. although the PH-1 is more subtle (less depth?) the "magic" sparkle seems less. The PH-1R is fuller but a bit flatter. The PH-1 is definitely more vintage in feel and somehow closer to that airy movement of a univibe.
