New BOSS pedals!

The box has some patina but the pedal looks mint! Is it just an illusion?

Pretty well. There is a bit of wear around the screw and the rubber ring has been replaced but, otherwise, it’s in great condition.

A special new pedal day for me and I wanted to share it with my friends here which is my spiritual home when it comes to a Boss pedals.

This is a boxed (thumb cut), SP-1 Spectrum from September 1980, complete with instructions.

It’s a special one for me because, after years of collecting these things, this is the final piece of the jigsaw which is a complete collection of boxed Boss compact effects pedals. Another life goal ticked off I guess More pix to follow, but for now, here is the SP-1 that arrived today.

I certainly will do that Maybe I should wait until the OC-5 and RC-5, which I have on order, have arrived ? Then there is the new Waza too !

No sign of the OC-5 yet then? Andertons website is now saying they are expecting them tomorrow, so maybe not too much longer to wait.

I have sent my OC-5 back to the music shop earlier this week. I don't need one of these again.

Yes, I saw that and I think the RC-5 is a couple of days later (which I also have in order with them). The OC-5 was ordered on 22 Sept !
