Anyone else have a boss RV-200? Im trying to tweak the "gated" setting. The manual says that that the param knob adjusts the *threshold* but then the explanation says it adjusts the *length* of the reverb sound.
When I adjust it to 100 it doesnt do anything, around 70 or so it triggers the reverb for chords, around 60 its single note picking. Thats great for the threshold but I wanted to modify the cutoff time.
Any settings you recommend to decrease the time to cut the gate? It takes roughly 50ms or so to cut the tail no matter what I try. I want to get it as short as possible.
Anyone here a wizard with the RV-200?

Interesting I wonder why they did this. The other boss reverb’s “gate” modes are just a non decaying reverbs. I would try setting threshold to 0 and using the time knob
