Marvellous pedal, almost like a DS1 with just that extra feature of the feedback.

Also, I think the distortion itself is richer than a DS-1. Just sounds a little bit better.

To be honest, i wasn't thinking about any of those things :D

I saw it was a lawsuit version for the same price as the non-lawsuit one, and snapped it up!

I did the same, a Super Dist/Feedb popped up for a Super Feedb/Dist price so I grabbed it! A Feedb/Dist popped up for really cheap lately, so I grabbed it, too.
I had an original Super Dust/Feedb that I bought new in 1985 and sold it off sometime in the early 90s. I was driven to get another to remake my BCB6 loaded board I had back in the early/mid 80s.

I also like the sound of the DF2 better than the DS1, I also like the DS2 in normal mode better than the DS1, too.

One of my favourite BOSS related videos, DF-2 towards the end.

Got a gift from the BOSS Gods!
Was at the local store and they were going through the repair shelf and making decisions to fix or trash items. A NS-2 and DD-3T were on a trajectory for the bin, so they gave them to me. The repair order said they 'don't function correctly, signal cuts out.' They were both really nice looking, like they never left the house. No velcro, nothing. The DD-3T was new with the box, the NS-2 about 10 years old.

Well, I popped the cover, saw nothing burnt out nor any bad joints.
Plugged them in, tried them under a variety of situations, tested every function and jack and found no issues at all! I can only think that this was user error or the person had issues somewhere else in their signal chain.

Did I need either of these? No.
Am I happy to have them? Yes!
There is good chance they will get passed on to some friend or bandmate that can use either of them.
I also found that when you have a tap switch with the DD-3T, the 3 delay time modes then become quarter, dotted eighth and eighth note modes, pretty cool!

Sounds like you lucked out there, bigtone23!

Interesting about the DD-3T. That's a nifty feature I didn't know it had.

Yeah, didn't know about that feature. Came up when looking at the manual, which I tend to do, just because "secret" features like this pop up all the time.
Same thing happened with my used MXR TAP switch, had no idea that it was TRS and there are DIP switches inside to assign Tip and/or Ring to ground. Most likely I wouldn't have opened it up as I assumed it was just a normally open switch with a jack.
