GX-100 trigger effect from Ex Pedal

Post by Sparkotronic » Sat Jul 05, 2025 7:14 pm

Hi,
I'm trying to create a patch where I am using the expression pedal to switch on a fuzz and delay.
When I configure it the effects only come on when the expression pedal value is above 50.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change the trigger value lower?
The current settings make the fuzz sound crap as I'm halfway through the bend range.

Cheers in advance!

Well, maybe you want to write what you did? It could be that someone else stumbles over the same problem one day. Those complex multi-effects units are somewhat not too easy to get along with.

I know what they did, its a setting called "active range hi" and "active range lo" these settings are crucial to using the expression pedal for switching your most used effects.

Hi,
What I did was link the parameter, Fuzz on/off to EXP1.
This now turns the fuzz on when the expression pedal is at 50.

If you then go to page 2 on the action editor and take "Act Range Hi" down to 1, it will turn the fuzz on as soon as you move the exp pedal off of the 0 positions.

Same would be if you are going from the pedal being full open, you would use "Act Range Lo"
Can be used for controling any effect parameter be it on off or a knob.

Cool function and really opens up the sonic capabilites of the unit!
