Great news! The admin formerly known as bossarea gave me a copy of his BOSS Area Forum backup from April 2010 and I got it running on my HD after some time. I can even log in with my old data. Have a look:

That's cool and enormous progress - I'd hoped out loud a couple times that the code and data would be released so it could be resurrected. Awesome to see we finally got there!

I'd be willing to host or sponsor a small Linux instance in Linode if we wanted to resurrect the old board as a read-only app - if you got it going on your local machine should be too hard to stick it behind an nginx instance.

Wow, this brings back memories! Very cool.

I'm sorry to see that we don't have the membership numbers that we used to have on the other two forms. It would be nice to have some more of the old members sign up here, and also some awesome new ones. Trolls need not apply...

We are doing pretty well with the current membership though! (It's a real international group too!)

I always found it very useful to see which pedal was made in what year and if there are Japanese versions, etc. It does also have the serial number decoder.

Unfortunately this link now appears to be dead

Does anyone know if the old Bossarea information pages are available anywhere else?
