Boss GX 100 Tap Tempo Delay Settings

Dear Users! I recently purchased a Boss GX 100 Multieffect Pedal. There´s one problem I´m having setting up the tap tempo function for the delay effect. I´ve watched a number of YT videos and googled but so far I haven´t found anything which clearly explains how to do this. At least when I think I´ve got the correct settings it still doesn´t work. So I´ll list what I want to have step by step:
1. Assign C1 (Control Switch 1 = CTL 1) function (FUNC) to BPM Tap by entering CTL/EXP - Control Function window. Now C1 is blinking at BPM value.
2. Assign C1 preference (PREF) to SYSTEM in Control Function window.
3. CTL/EXP Assign Settings window: this starts to get a bit confusing for me. I assume that "Tap Time" is the correct setting. (not "Time") (see photo 1)
4. In Manual Mode I have Delay Plus (Panning Delay) assigned to MAN 4. This works fine and I can switch the delay on-off. (see photo 2)
As far as I understand that´s all the relevant parameters that are available for setting up the tap tempo function. Would greatly appreciate any help!
