Congrats, that has to feel good.

So now that they are all spoken for sight-unheard, you should release a 3.2 second clip (see what I did there...) of how this thing sounds so we can hear what we got ourselves into 3.2 seconds only, no more, no less.

Yeah, it feels good. And from a completely pragmatic viewpoint it is a very good thing... I've just spent about $700 on parts

Crazy how fast the cost of parts adds up, that's eye opening.

It's the USD$ exchange rate plus shipping. The stuff from SmallBear alone cost nearly $400. Mouser was $200 and the PCBs $100.

Plus all the miscellaneous stuff like washers, labels, etc etc etc... Yeah it adds up.

@sclitheroe: Don't estimate how the prices for parts sum up, especially for components of higher quality.

The other driver for the cost of parts is the batch size. Buying parts to build 1,000 pedals rather than 10 would drop the cost maybe 50%

And once you are looking at 1,000 pedals it would become viable to buy direct from the manufacturer rather than though resellers - for example, the potentiometers direct from the manufacturer in Taiwan are about $1 in lots of 1000 (or maybe less), whereas they are $2 each from SmallBear in lots of 10.

I have one last 32 OD available if anyone would like one.

This is the list for the 32TB2 and 32OD. Sincere thanks to everyone for their interest in these. As always, I'll ship them and once you have tried them if you like them PayPal me and if you hate them just send them back.

By the time the paint cures I'd estimate shipping in about 3 weeks time.

The "drill prototype" usually stays with me as my instance of the pedal because the fit isn't as good and any tweaks to the design can leave visible marks.
