Appreciate the thought, but not worth the hassle for these particular pedals.

That's indeed a fantastic price for one of the best power supplies (noise free with almost any analogue pedal) that I have ever had.

It is a "star connected" linear (not switched mode) PSA supply. It uses a 7809 regulator with the reference leg connected to ground through a diode - giving close to 9 + 0.7 = 9.7VDC regulated out. Which is the terminal voltage of a fresh 9V battery.

This approach is exactly how I power my pedalboard with a Laurie-made power supply, except I don't use the diode to increase the voltage - mine runs at 8.95VDC.

The price for the FT-2 was reduced to around 130* EUR in total. The prices at Reverb begin at 200 EUR, so if you want an affordable and good-looking FT-2 - this is your chance to grab one!

Insured and tracked shipping from Germany to the USA or Canada will cost 23 EUR, so we are talking about a sum of around 160 USD in total.

*131,24 to be exact.

Update:

Apparently it is sold now.
