I had no idea this is the haven for all people SBZ until I registered and saw the responding email. Nice to see some familiar names here.
Never been a Boss fan over the last few decades, but an MT-2, SD-1, DS-1, PH-3 and CE-5 later, I can firmly say I love these things (even if half my PH-3 modes oddly no longer work).
They stay firmly on my direct-to-PA board in my Post-Punk band, and can't rave about them enough.
Looking forward to chatting gear here.

Welcome back! For me it's a surprise to hear that you have never had BOSS pedals in the past. The StompBoxZone was the follow-up forum of the original Bossarea Forum, this one here went back to the roots (name-wise).

I just repaired a BOSS DD-6 that also had a faulty mode switch. I'm very certain that your PH-3 could be fixed as well. I bet that we are going to encounter several failing mode switches in digital BOSS pedals the future. I wrote it down here.

Thanks, I'll have a read through that.
Was so infuriating when I first got it, the footswitch won't turn the pedal on if it's set to a faulty mode, making the switch look like it's knackered. Then only having 1/2 of the modes available. I only wanted a simple Phaser pedal, nothing too fancy haha.
The modes that do work, sound great, but can't help wondering when the working modes will finally give up on me.
