New Amp Day 1971-72 Fender Pro Reverb

I had been watching this at a pawn shop for a few months as they had originally overpriced it and figured the automated price drops would start kicking in. Today I decided to try and haggle it to what I wanted to pay, but when I tested the amp the Normal channel doesn't output any sound (while the Vibrato channel works fine), so I was able to get the price down even more. When I got it home and hooked up a footswitch I found the tremolo wasn't working. Thankfully I have a good cheap amp tech here so I will be bringing it in soon. Amp is very clean but the speakers had been swapped at some point to Celestion Heritage. I may end up replacing those at some point. I had wanted one of these for quite a while but never found one that was a good enough value to pull the trigger on until now. I will be (trying to) sell my Concert Reverb now, but 4x10 tube combos aren't really trending in a good way.

That 2x12 will be quite a bit lighter than a Concert, I'd imagine.
Is the cabinet still made of plywood?

Both the Concert and Pro are plywood. It is lighter, but only by ~20 lbs (it is in the 60-65lb range). I haven't played a gig in 20 years so I'm not too concerned about weight (the footprint size affects me more). When I got a 1968 Twin Reverb back in 1997 I ended up wishing that I had gotten a Pro or Super, but Pros and Supers were 2-3x more expensive than Twins at that time. Getting this one for less than they were in 1997 was one of the driving factors in this purchase

I have a 1964 1x15 Pro Amp. It's closer to the blackface Vibroverb, but without the verb. Weighs about 40 to 45 lbs.

Cool. I have never had any amps that old. I went from being a 1 guitar/1 amp guy to a 10 guitars/2 amps guy. Now I have more amps than guitars, but I missed my window when most of the vintage Fender stuff was still affordable.
