Low Wattage Amps versus High Wattage Amps

Post by visserman » Thu Dec 17, 2020 12:55 am

Read for low something like 5 to 25/30 watts and high something like 75 to 100 watts.

Okay just have a look at Brian Wampler's video, he makes a comment right at the beginning, he comes back to that same idea right at the end, have a listen. Makes sure you keep listening right until the end so all the adds will play................... :D :geek:

So why post this video and create a subject like this?

Well there are some things we can learn from it: Brain makes great videos, has a great tone on his videos and is not afraid to ask us to subscribe to his videos. Even if you are not into pedals and gear all that much, heh that could not be you eh, he may still keep you hanging in there with some of his jokes..............
Apart from that, we do not discuss amps enough here or maybe I am missing all the debates............anyway............

The Mesa test is interesting, look how far his Master Volume is. No, you can play powerful amps without blowing out the windows. I know, we all have our different methods of how we achieve this.

Anyway, let us get some amp talk starting for here.............
