Ace Tone is an early incarnation of Roland
Nice! Nice rebuild too!

Nope. A friend found it and let me know yesterday. Who would think to look?

I was thinking during the rebuild "these screws look EXACTLY like early Roland/Boss screws". Now I know why :geek:

Thanks for the kind words. It was a labour-of-love... it would have been a $2000 repair if I was being paid for my time!

Looks very nice!

For about a year and a half I kept my eye on the price of a nice mint one here in a used shop, watching it drop from around $200 to about $130...then one day it had gone :o

I tested it once, easy to crank up, and a pleasant tone. I simply didn't have space (= my wife would kill me  )

Good luck with it and report back!
