is that an early 60's Gibson GA-5 Skylark?
Good eye! Yeah, it's a 1959. Love this thing! 8-)

Have you got a 71 metal panel Marshall? Would love to have one of them!

I had a Skylark that looked just like that one, great amp with that little 8" Jenson speaker. It was warm sounding and its distortion when maxed was ace.
I do have a 71 50 watt Marshall, I don't think I'll ever part with it :)

Yeah, the Skylark is a fantastic little amp, for sure. 8-)

Good for you owning that 50 watt! Jealous...

Have you got a vintage stack or half-stack to go with it? We do like pictures here, by the way. :geek:

The cab is a reissue with UK made greenbacks form probably 1997 or 99.

Nice! I see a Twin Reverb and a Sound City head too. Volume is no object it seems! 8-)

Edit: Oh, there's an attenuator there too...

Yeah, I have mild tinnitus. I live in an apartment in Brooklyn so there's no way I can play at gig level! Sound City is gone though, I preferred the sound of the Marshall anyway and space became an issue.

You know that I dig the KORG Poly-61 on the right. I have one as well. ;)

You also recently scored a Korg Poly 800 as well, which I also have :)

Nice selection of amps.
Looks like you favour Eminence Cannabis Rex's or JBL speakers.
