ES-8: How to I get the 'Bank' switch to change pedal presets?

So I have a Boss MD-200. I'd like to be able to toggle between presets (memory) using the 'Bank' button. All my online searches seem to come up with responses that use external footswitches. I want to use the 'Bank' button instead of a footswich or hitting the Memory/Tap footswitch on the pedal. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
