Building myself a vintage Deluxe Electric Mistress clone
I've had a Reticon SAD1024 chip in the parts bin for maybe 15 years and looking at the prices people are getting for them these days I thought I might sell it for a satisfying price on Reverb.com.
Unfortunately, I have no SAD1024 based pedals, so can't test it. So I decided to build a test circuit for it. Test it, then sell it as "known good".
And then I thought, if I'm going to that much trouble, I might as well build a whole pedal.
I'm in the process of slowly recreating a vintage Deluxe Electric Mistress (V2):

I'll let you know how it goes. I sincerely HOPE the SAD1024 is actually OK, and not a dud!

Good luck Laurie and fingers crossed.

All right!
I used to have a 79/80-ish Dlx EM. Cool flange!
Hope the build goes well!

Managed to get some basic noise out of the breadboard today. The SAD1024 chip is good. Happy about that!
There are a few bugs to sort out, but it sounds close to being correct.
