I find it equally rare that everything is just out, so people can grab it off the shelf and try it and do shootouts with other pedals, etc. Lots of stores keep everything in cases so you need someone to get it out for you and sometimes they will only let you try one at a time. I have had days where I would head to that shop on my lunch break and try like 20 pedals.

10 months after I requested a local builder to make it, he finally finished my quad op amp OD-1 clone, so the board should be in its final form now. Ended up having to shuffle things around, but now it's 1960s-70s on the bottom row and 1980s-2000s on top, in chronological order.

My sister lives in Apple Valley, I will have to visit that store when I visit her.

There are two other shops around that stock loads of pedals, boutique and otherwise.

The other two are Twin Town and El Diablo. Eclipse just has the most of them.
