The best thing about those Turbo tuners is the buffer-bypass option (I have one - only for that reason)
I just don't gel with the rotating circle thing - and I tried
Hands down my preference for regular tuning is a needle tuner, and the Boss TU12-ex is the best of that bunch, I reckon
Best tuner for intonation?

Re: Best tuner for intonation?
I needed a pedal tuner for the new board and I've become very accustomed to the Turbotuner. I couldn't go back to a "normal" tuner like a TU-3.
Today I swallowed the cost and bought a Petersen Strobostomp HD, plus a Stroboclip HD for the acoustic and for when I don't have an amp fired up.
Early days yet, but both seem rock solid and live up to the reputation.

Yes bizarrely enough I find the app very accurate and useful. Not always a fan of pulling a phone out but it’s nice to have and works well.laurie wrote: ↑Sun Dec 26, 2021 9:51 pmSorted... I downloaded the free Boss TU-3 app. It seems to be accurate enough, at least to my ear - I just did the intonation of the Samick guitar I mentioned in another thread.
The pedal is 1 cent precision. The Boss site doesn't quote an accuracy for the software version, but it feels like it should be 1 cent too.
