Stunning ! I cannot wait to make some noise with this one - my blues band mates have been warned ;) We’ve got at least three different amps ready to try it with and we’ll give it a good work out.

I've just been sorting through the Germanium transistors and I've found two more transistors that can be used for Q3. Both have a gain of about 95 which is close enough. I have two PCBs left, and enough parts to make one more complete, good 32TB2 pedal, plus enough junk-box parts to make a second dodgy one.

So two pedals are available:

#0 Yellow enclosure - was Laurie's, now available
#1 The_Doc
#2 sclitheroe
#3 Boogieman
#4 Luke drifter
#5 Fuzzbuzzfuzz
#6 BearBoy
#7 Pepe
#8 Antique nickel enclosure - new build, available
#9 Dodgy build - Laurie to keep

If you want one, let me know. These really are the last two - there are no Q3 transistors, no PCBs, and no parts left after these.

So... one of the two Q3 transistors I found failed-under-test.

So I'll keep #0 for myself and the new build #8 will be for sale once I've put it together.

#0 Laurie
#1 The_Doc
#2 sclitheroe
#3 Boogieman
#4 Luke drifter
#5 Fuzzbuzzfuzz
#6 BearBoy
#7 Pepe
#8 Yellow enclosure - new build, available soon, last one

Got home from my most recent prospecting trip up north, and these were waiting for me!

Haven't played them yet, but they look awesome! These might be the best looking pedals Laurie has done, imho (yeah I'm a sucker for yellow, chickenheads, and whatnot, but they really do look the business)

Can't wait to get these on the board and give them a go.

Here is an excerpt of my PM to Laurie on my impression of the 32TB-2 pedal:
The TB-2 sounded great with a small Champ-style combo volume set to 8. Just for fun, I plugged the pedal to a 100W combo set to clean, just to see how it would drive a clean amp. With the Level set at noon and the Attack set between 2 and 3 o'clock, I can get a fat tone with a Strat, using the guitar volume knob to clean it up at will. To be able to use the TB-2 with a clean amp and sound great was a very nice surprise.

The TB-2 pedal was on for just under 3 hours, in a room with A/C. The tone was fairly consistent throughout. I couldn't detect any issues with the transistor temperature. My next test will be pairing it with a wah pedal. Then, it would be playing with the spare transistors that came with the pedal. I like the TB-2 as it is, but being able to toy with different value transistors would be a lot of fun.

Maybe it was due to the Boss TB-2w fiasco, I found myself spending a tad more time on the TB-2 during the weekend. I don't think it would be fair to choose a winner between the TB-2 and the OD, as they are distinctive sounding pedals with different features and design goals. That said, both pedals are keepers. Thanks for building the pedals.
