Looking good Laurie. This is very interesting and I can really appreciate the work that you put into making your pedals.
Thank you!

Parts have arrived for the 32TB2.

Will start to get these completed over the next couple of weeks.

Looking really good. This one is going to be my secret weapon ;) Destined for heavy Marshall JVM usage.

Just been trying the 32TB2... the first time I've ever played through one.

Interestingly, minimum on "attack" knob is still really fuzzy. Until you back off the volume on the guitar. It is REALLY responsive to the volume control and to picking dynamics. Checking YouTube videos, this is the way of the beast:

Not for the feint of heart, this pedal.

Here's a question... I bought powder-coated boxes (yellow) because powder-coat makes a good base for any other colour that you want to paint them.

I was intending to paint them "antique nickel" metallic, a bit like the original. But I quite like the yellow too...

Would you like them yellow, or antique nickel metallic?

I prefer antique nickel metallic.

I figure that would be therapeutic, after the TB-2w fiasco.

OK. Antique nickel it shall be. It will have yellow inside... FYI.

Here is another idiosyncrasy... to get a 4.7V bias voltage the trimmer is set to 32k Ohms. In the original, the fixed resistor in the same place is 8k2 Ohms (one quarter the value).

This resistance sets the bias, but it also sets the lower end of the gain - the gain when the "attack" knob is fully counterclockwise.

Setting to 32k to get a bias point "in the middle" (4.7V) increases the gain when the "attack" knob is fully counterclockwise four-fold.

Setting to 8k2 to replicate the original sets the bias point to 8V. Quite a different tone.

When I send these out I'll set the trimmer to 8k2 and provide instructions about how to adjust the bias point. 8k2 gives less gain when the "attack" knob is fully counterclockwise and it makes it "better"(??).

At any rate, you will be able to play around with it to get it where you want - all you will need is a multimeter and a Phillips (star) jeweler's screwdriver.

I love what it does at the 6:00 mark and onwards in that vid, and is a side of the Tonebender I don't think I've heard frequently in demos before. If the 32TB2 plays in that space I will be super happy.
