That's a beautiful playroom, the Z fills me with good envy.

Re: Fractal AX8 ... a (relatively) cost effective alternative to individual pedals
I picked up the Z about 12 years ago at local music store's annual sale of used gear. It is the Maz 18 with reverb and 2x10" speakers. I've only ever seen one other 2x10 here in Calgary, so it is rare for here at least.
The tone is ... on another level. I've had many (many) amps in-and-out of the collection over the last 10 years. The Dr Z will never leave.
Paid $1,000 for it. An absolute bargain.

I never played one, it is very rare here in Brazil (any model), but it was in my list to build one when I was doing DIY amps, the Carmen Ghia is my favorite, but any model would make me very happy.laurie wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 9:31 pmI picked up the Z about 12 years ago at local music store's annual sale of used gear. I became aware of the "Z"s by watching Gearmanndude videos years ago.
Congrats Laurie, and yes it is a keeper.
