Huge thanks to Pepe for giving me the opportunity to get a mint condition vintage MXR Six Band Graphic Equalizer. Pepe has done a fantastic job cleaning it up and it works like a dream. Please see the ‘New (broken) pedal day!’ thread for more info about the rescue of this one.
Here is a photo of it along with my other, older, MXR pedals. I’ve owned three of these from new. Not an LED in sight either - those were the days !
Over the years I’ve been assembling the rig that I used when I first went on stage in the late 1970’s. This equalizer was the final piece of that. I didn’t own one at the time but had one on long term loan that, eventually, I had to give back to the owner.
I’m so pleased to have finished that little quest and thanks again to Pepe to help me do it

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
Indeed, indeed! I'm glad that the eq found a good new home after spending decades in the box with the deteriorating foam.
Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
Great collection of MXR!
The older MXR pedals are really cool with the colorful boxes, just like older BOSS pedals.
Now they both use mostly black boxes with a splash of accent color. Not nearly as cool.

I could not agree more ! I’ve always been a fan of the boxes
