(One thing I love about MIMs is their HB neck route, so you can swap in any kind of neck pickup you want with only a pick guard change.)
I did not know that about MIM Telecasters. This changes everything.

Dirk - I've always wanted one of those Ibanez Lawsuit models.
That Yamaha bass; is that a guitar pickup in the neck? Does it have separate output jack?

The_Doc - That PRS blue to green fade is great. It almost looks to good to play.

Epiphone Les Paul Studio - I helped a Church purchase some guitars. I help maintain them. It's in great shape, besides the paint yellowing. Great price. Under $150

Image
Squire Affinity Stratocaster - 2nd guitar I helped the Church purchase. Plays insanely well for a Squier, too good. Definitely an exemplar. Less than $100

Image
Epiphone EB0 - Found this randomly in the church. Fixed it up the best I could, still has a slightly broken tuner, but it works.

It's a great guitar. It says "custom" on the headstock as its brand name, but those were built by Ibanez. It originally came with Dimarzio pickups, but they were too microphonic to use, so I replaced them.

The neck pickup is a bass model, whatever Yamaha put in back in the day. I thought it looked cool with the exposed blades. The bass came as mono, I did a stereo conversion.

I have to confess that the blue to green fade is a trophy guitar really - it certainly hasn’t been and won’t be gigged. It’s a lazy Sunday morning guitar

This is the old MIJ Aria Stratocaster that I bought off from a schoolmate's brother in 1999. I gave it to my father-in-law a few years later after I bought my mid-'80s Fender MIJ Stratocaster. Recently I received it back for a few days to check and clean it and to put new strings on it. I haven't seen it for over 15 years, so I took the chance to shoot a few pictures.

Image

The neck is D-shaped and too thick for me. Overall it doesn't play too well and I always disliked that it only has a three-position pickup switch.

Image

The vibrato system is a very odd one and I have never seen something like this in another guitar. I have never used it, because I didn't have the fitting vibrato arm back then. I disassembled it and it looks like you can only bend the strings up and not down. The string's ball ends don't leave much space for that, so you cannot overdo that.

Image

It seems like this model is from 1976. I don't know if these have increased in value. I really doubt that it has a real value. At least I wouldn't pay too much for this model. I've never been too lucky with it.

This is great Pepe - I like seeing these unusual old guitars. It might be a devil to play but it has some mojo ! I’ve still got my old Zenta strat copy which looks similar to this - I‘ll see if I can grab a pic of it.

Here is my Zenta strat copy from around 1969/70. My very first electric guitar ! Played it for the first time in years today and it was very nearly still in concert pitch :o
