Guitar Cab Mics
What are your favourite cab mics? Ive always gotten away with the good ole 57, because they're cheap and they are an industry standard My good ole 57 is getting, well, good and old, and a NOS black (older version) Sennheiser 609 has come up for sale cheap, so i reckon i'll grab that and see how i li...

Re: 32 Pedals arrived! (Feedback post)
Saw that Laurie used a 12V zenner diode in the power section, so... why not? The 12V Zener limit is because the base-emitter reverse voltage limit of the MP16B transistors (when used as clippers) is 15V. so, is it safe to run at 12v? I'm really digging this 32OD Its doing fuzz-taming duti...

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
I sold my very old big box rat for stupid amount of minry a couple of years ago. It sounded the same as my early 90s unit and the Dazatronyx sounds the same as the early 90s unit too across the sweep of all dials (inc. volume) on the stock RAT setting there are dip switches inside for a lower gain g...

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
I like the old RATs
I like the newer Hi-Fi RATs also, like the Arc Effects Soothsayer/Woodcutter
I had an Arc Woodcutter, which I loved. Sold it in exchange for a guitar set-up. Always regretted that
here is a new (to me, secondhand) Dazatronyx version, an Australian build

Re: Let's see those pedalboards!
I'm just putting together a board for home (its too big to take out). I'm tired of tearing my main board apart between gigs to play with other pedals. I'll use this one to muck around on and to compare - fuzzes mainly. Its all working and almost finished/tidied up I've got my 'reference' tone bender...
