I have found that some of my Waza pedals are coming up with 2024 decoder dates. The B50 SD1, too.
Did BOSS revise their serials?

Re: Fender Hot Rod Deluxe
Thanks again for saving another mistreated piece of gear. I have never heard a Hot Rod Deluxe in person and I didn't know that the dirt channel isn't useful. Horrible, that a merely 30-year-old amp can be so bashed-up. :| The Blues Deluxe/Hot Rod Deluxe have a clean channel that is great for about ...

Re: New BOSS pedals!
Ok, I finally caved and got a TU3Wb. ABSOLUTELY unnecessary purchase, but the price was right. ;) I know I mentioned elsewhere here that I'd do this if one popped up for a good deal. Well, it's black, so it will look really good replacing a white TU3 on one of my boards. ... and that TU3 will replac...

Re: New Boss IR-2 Amp & Cabinet
Yep! I get a lot of mileage out of the ACS1 as a late night headphone amp. It’s 90% of how I use it and really love this application. It's also great for doing quick n dirty testing of dirt pedals with the 'big 3' amp platforms, too. This is especially cool since I don’t have an actual Vox (or remot...

Re: New Boss IR-2 Amp & Cabinet
I'm going to get an IR2. It's exactly what i need. I really like how many amp platforms it has, a couple each of cleans, crunches, hi gain, etc... Plus the effects loop and headphone jack, all in a compact Boss enclosure that could live in a BCB6. I recently picked up a Walrus ACS1 that does a very ...

Notaklon kit anyone?
Saw the release announcement for the JHS Notaklon the other week. Looked like a fun way to get another Klone for about $100. Well, I was a couple hours late to get on the 1st wave of shipments, so mine will show up in a little over a month or so. No biggie. My thoughts and impetus to order were: it'...

Re: Wazacraft through-hole or SMD?
I checked mine. All have large PCBs. FZ1W: has a double board with mostly SMD. HM2W : single board, almost all SMD. https://uniim1.shutterfly.com/render/00-0bRNyLnJL0pZOju37gIGvAJPjGm5zan3rARPapS3bn0dcI3CQLO-hCo-UV8agsd7V7ntXQOewWgszVPDOQPWWw?cn=THISLIFE&res=medium&ts=1701065896 https://uniim1.shutt...

Cool finish, but that's not enough for creating redundancy in my stash.
