Re: NPD: thrift store pedals
Quite. A peril of the 90s in particular, plastic - weak/brittle, in places where metal would have been much more effective! Contenders of infamyincluding: 1) the otherwise quite well built aforementioned large box Danelectros 2) the Guyatone FLIPs (plastic jacks to PCB with metal washers and nuts...

Re: Boss RRV-10 (micro rack) and RV-2 comparison
Thanks for the review Doc. 👍 Before that I would bet that the rack would beat the hell out of the pedal. Nice to know that this is not the case. Yes that is what I thought at first as well. Those early racks were more primitive that later ones I guess. With multi effectors it is a similar thing: Yo...

New Nirvana Doc Here: Nevermind: When Nirvana Came To Britain
This is a new Doc. which some of you may enjoy.
It does have some new info, also contains info about the venues where Nirvana played here in the UK.
Some of those venues are no longer.
Just watch it to get a feel how those early 1990s days were.

Re: BOSS Pedals you sold like a fool and are thinking of rebuying!
Personally I keep all the pedals I have. Not really a collector, but a user. There may be pedals you may not have a use for, but then your playing style may change or your idea of what you like. Recently I have been using the DF-2 and the DS-2 a lot more, and discovered new characteristics about the...

Re: Rebuying pedals we sold...
Only a BF-2, because I found it for a bargain price of 32 euros, and an ODB-3 cause I had one when I started playing in '95 and in hindsight it makes for a super cool synthy vibe. Back then I sold it in favour of some Ampeg preamp. My only regret now is the Tech21 doubledrive I send away in a CPEWT...

Re: New toy
Laurie, could you build a design based on a circuit you put into your guitar? Not interested in a pedal really. As you mentioned you have a lot of low gain transistors, a circuit like this may fit the bill. Maybe some other folks here may be interested as well. I am not sure if you would need to kno...

Re: A new Wazacraft pedal is on the way
I got one around 9 am the day they were released in North America through Musician's Friend. Confirmation email and back-order email received the next day or so. I chatted a customer service rep and they confirmed that my order was indeed processed and that it will ship March 10th. Welcome back to ...
