Re: RC2 RC1 and Sampling Rate and Bit Depth Of Boss Loopers

For the hell of it I tried today what chromandre and Gasgano mentioned in their posts: Added as many overdubs as I liked to see if it had any negative impact on the sound quality. I have to say, the sound remained crystal clear. Whilst doing this I did get curious to see if there is a difference in ...

Re: RC2 RC1 and Sampling Rate and Bit Depth Of Boss Loopers

In my search for other loopers and various reviews I came across a site with this article: https://looperpedalreviews.com/category/blog-articles/ I have now a RC3 I can borrow for a little while. No distortion when I loop the bass quite high in the mix. Great clear sound! The Mooer Loop and Groove i...

Re: RC2 RC1 and Sampling Rate and Bit Depth Of Boss Loopers

Thank you all for your detective work. The low headroom thing makes sense, but that would mean getting distortion at some point. Nothing to do with overdubs I would have thought. The amount of overdubs in not my complaint. Overdubs and clarity also depends on what is being played. I can see the poin...

Re: The future of our Pedal Exchange Tours

Woh this is interesting eh? I was just curious to see who was going to join the Christmas one for this year. I did explain to Pepe a similar thing about more exchanges throughout the year instead of just the Christmas one. It seems not too many people are into it at the moment. I have my own little ...

RC2 RC1 and Sampling Rate and Bit Depth Of Boss Loopers

Hello, Does anyone know the specs for the Sampling Rate and the Bit Depth of the RC2? Bizarre question you may think, let me explain! Quite happy making loops with the hold time of the DD7. I use bass and guitar mainly and adjust the EQ of both instruments. The DD7 never has any trouble in represent...

Re: New Boss XS-1 & XS-100 Poly Shifters

Thinking about them, I do not think you can change individual strings. I guess this would be too complex. I think you'd need something with one of those midi pickups like the VG-800 to change the pitch of individual strings. or do it manually, which nothing beats of course. I know, the pedal is des...

Re: All the different DD-3 models

Yes, the DSD models have the same long chip as the DD-2. ..and often can be found somewhat under the radar price wise. Well at least until recently. And I’ve never figured out the trigger sample bit  It is a very very, short hold function. Not sure if you need to keep the switch pressed down l...

Re: New Boss XS-1 & XS-100 Poly Shifters

Yes they both look impressive. I just noticed them today, read on the Gear Page a thread about the XS-1, some people over there have one. Thinking about them, I do not think you can change individual strings. I guess this would be too complex. I have to mention something else nothing to do with thos...

Re: If you ever wondered what was inside a vintage PSA power supply

A engineer who I know has repaired the power cables on probably 5 to 6 of my PSA's He puts some kind of rubber around the place where the cable comes out of the case. It stops the cable from breaking. I transport my PSA's all the time, and it is one of my most used power supplies. There is something...

Re: All the different DD-3 models

Interesting topic. I'd count the PS-2 as one of the better "analogue" feel BOSS delays, whopping 2secs that gets quite gritty and lo-fi. DD-3 Long chip - grab and go reverb sub or delay (Feed to semi dirty amp! DD-7 - always on Reverse mode on the board, can sub for anything else that crops up DD-5...
