Exclusive ACA pedal board
I want to put together a small vintage 80s board for fun. I have old ACA adaptor powered SD-1, DS-1, PH-1r, BF-2, and CE-2, as well as an old Thomas Crybaby that is battery powered only. I no longer have a functioning ACA adaptor. If I won't be using any regular, non-ACA powered pedals in my signal ...

Re: Boss amp modeling pedals?
For anybody interested, I emailed Boss and they responded that their amp modeling pedals all bypass the AD/DA converters when the pedals are disengaged.

Re: Thinking of selling my collection
I had pristine condition MIJ SD-1, DS-1, CS-1, and DD-2, late 70's Big Muff and Small Stone, late 70's DOD OD OD250, 1st production year MT-2, early 80s Ibanez FL-2, a mid-80's Arion SCH-1, and '90 Scholz Rockman X-100, among others. I felt sick a couple years afterwards when I realized what I had l...

Boss amp modeling pedals?
Does anybody know if the BC-2, FBM-1, FDR-1, and ST-2 digital amp modeling pedals have analog bypass; i.e., does the guitar signal still run through the pedals' AD/DA converters even when the effect is bypassed? I have read that is a "thing" with some digital pedals. I realize that these pedals are ...

Re: Thinking of selling my collection
Since you have so many pedals, have you considered putting together a pedal board consisting of all your very best pedals that you would actually use? I know you said you have an AxeFX and those are great too, but you might one day regret selling all your pedals. I did that once back in the late 90'...

Re: Boss Pedals for 2023 Speculation
I sure hope you are correct! I have not had a Boss pedal die on me yet and I do have several from the 80's (MIJ SD-1, MIT SD-1, MIJ DS-1, MIT DS-1, CE-2, PH-1r, BF-2, CS-2, DM-2, and possibly an OD-2 Turbo and DF-2 that I haven't yet run through the S/N decoder); however, the switch on my CE-2 is ge...

Re: Boss Pedals for 2023 Speculation
I concur with both BF-2w and a compact Rotary Speaker pedal. I would like to retire my BF-2 before it dies, but if they do a Waza version, my hope is that it would faithfully reproduce the sound of my MIJ black knob version? I had the white knob MIT version and did not like it as much, so I sold it....
