Re: Synthesizer
Indeed, it's a great score! The sound is absolutely great. It has very much in common with the later model Mini Pops 7 that Jean-Michel Jarre used for his iconic song Oxygène 4. I bet that it sounds fantastic through a set of effects, but the sound on its own is already remarkably good. I'll have t...

Re: XPEWT8 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 8
I have been experimenting with "sag" effect on the fender shields blender but it is a completely different feel like a hard tremolo(at least i dont know of any amp that behaves like that!! ) How do you find the Shields Blender? I'm a big fan of MBV but tend to get option blindness with too many con...

Re: XPEWT8 - Christmas Pedal Exchange World Tour 8
While I'm looking at them ... those four pedals together on a pedalboard sound like a solid rig to me! Thanks! After all I have basically settled on a more or less jimi hendrix setup but my musics not stuck in 1970. I find theres performance aspect to expression pedals obviously but also dynamics o...

Re: BOSS pedal randomly turns on
OK confirmed now its dirty power, this is the rig under my bench at work and a totally different pedal is doing the same thing. but I will say the DS-1 was doing it very frequently! I bet a proper isolated power supply would solve it but its not a gig and and its not a recording rig , just a freakis...

Korg power tube reactor? correct! I could not be more pleased with it, it is a definite keeper. as you can see I have been experimenting with "sag" effect on the fender shields blender but it is a completely different feel like a hard tremolo(at least i dont know of any amp that behaves like that!!...

Re: New Boss GX-1 and GX-1B Effects Processors
Im certain the GX-1 and GX1B are packed with high quality effects absolutely its going to sound great, but I just gotta add my absolute favorite feature of their bass pedals is that the GT-6B actually has an analog XLR dry output. The effects it has are good enough to my ears, sometimes I just leave...

Re: How can we breathe some life back into the forum?
I blame boss for, at least for compacts, mostly reissuing the classic pedals and they dont send my store demo models of the actual new stuff like SL-2 RT-2 etc.
