Re: Looking for Classic Style Boss Pedal Boxes

Sorry, I can't help you there, but if anyone's interested I have spare, 'old style' (coloured) boxes and manuals for:
DD-7
TU-3 (with '5-year warranty' logo)
DS-1
SD-1 (faded I'm afraid, but intact)

I also seem to have a spare manual for the AW-3, not sure where that's from!

If anyone uses Facebook, go onto the Facebook Marketplace and search 'Boss 40th Anniversary Box' or similar.
I've listed the set there, with pics.

FS: BOX-40 40th Anniversary box set

I suspect the hardcore collectors here will already have this, but I'm selling my 40th Anniversary box set, the 'traffic light colours' 3 pedal collection. (Japanese hand-made reissues of the OD-1, PH-1 and SP-1 Spectrum, which was the big selling point) Barely used, and just been in storage for the...

Re: Historical Info Site

Thanks, that's a great resource! I used to love 'Making Music' magazine - large format, full colour and completely free from (UK) music shops! And I admired their cheek claiming to be 'Britain's Biggest Music Magazine' (or something similar) in that it was, indeed, the physically largest format one ...

Mailing of electronic goods question

Pardon my ignorance, I've only sold pedals to UK buyers before and used domestic (UK) mail to deliver, but are there any restrictions on mailing electronic goods internationally? I'm thinking of selling my Boss 'BOX-40' 40th anniversary box set on eBay, and anticipate perhaps the buyer would be from...

Re: NPD: BOSS BC-2 Combo Drive!

BOSS is a division of Roland in Hamamatsu. VOX is owned by KORG in Tokio. I have never heard that Roland and KORG are linked in any way. Did a little digging and came up with the same answer. I don't think they are related... Indeed. I must have had my wires crossed, folks... if you'll pardon the t...

I stand corrected! Thank you for the explanation.
