It seems they have been converting the catalog to surface mount tech one or two pedals at a time, starting with the best selling pedals. I think it will just take time for them all to be SMD.

Re: PH-3 feedback?
The production version of the Dunlop MXR Phase 90 is the later block logo circuit, which has the added swishy feedback. I prefer the script logo circuit, which didn't have that feedback circuit. For current MXR, the best IMO is the Custom Shop Script Phase 90, although I prefer the Whirlwind Rochest...

Re: Roland AP-5 Phase 5 (and vintage phaser discussion)
I think the Retro-Sonic is a script Phase 90 clone. It is based out of the Phase 90 circuit, yes, but not the same. It is built for distorsion free sound. Re: Roland AP-5 Phase 5 (and vintage phaser discussion)
The best MXR Phase 90 to get is one that is the original Phase 90 script circuit, either the handwired Dunlop MXR model, or my favorite, the Whirlwind Rochester Series Orange Box, which is the exact script circuit with the added features of True Bypass and LED, it is a great pedal. I also like the M...

Re: Boss/Fender pedals
I was always intrigued about the collaboration with Fender for those pedals - the only other outside manufacturer to strike up a similar deal with Boss compacts has been JHS with the JB-2. I'm sure the ST-2 Power Stack and BC-2 Combo Drive pedals, released after the Fender pedals, would have been m...

Re: Boss/Fender pedals
I know, I've seen the FRV-1's listed for $300-400 on Ebay, I wish they would reissue that pedal, those prices are ridiculous.

I've seen Boss jacks on Ebay, and I'm pretty sure that Small Bear carries them.

I've watched 3 videos on the new MT-2W and it sounds pretty good to me.

Exactly what I've been thinking!.fuzzbuzzfuzz wrote: ↑Fri Oct 12, 2018 2:04 amOh and I would also place cash on the fact that a FA-1W in full compact form with added features. There is already enough clones to indicate its popular and boosters/buffs etc are big sellers these days.
