Re: EHX Big Muff 2
The amount of Muff circuits out there is quite overwhelming! I'm sure y'all are familiar with this site https://www.bigmuffpage.com . I have a V2, V4 and V6. These three span a pretty good sweep of the Muff thing. A BM2 would be different from mine, but I'm not sure I'll get one unless it crosses my...

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
Got the parts. Swapped out the power jack first, as I noticed some improvement in operation when I applied force with the power adapter at some angles in the original jack. This part swap alone got the pedal working, for the most part, but some of the modes don't work (like Reverse and Lo Fi). The s...

Re: New (broken) pedal day!
I moved your postings into this thread. Could you perhaps supply pictures of the circuit board, bigtone23? With some luck it's just a burnt diode. I'll get a shot of the board when I have it opened up next to try round one of repair. The DC power jack arrives tomorrow, the switch some time this week.

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
Picked up a free, non-working Hardwire DL8 Delay Looper. The internals date it to 2014 and it is scratched up and pitted, so it had an active and busy life in a much more humid place than Colorado. The LED briefly flashes when either a power supply or battery is connected, but the effect does not wo...

Re: 32FZ pedals... formerly the Fuzz Architect
I do like an on/off switch on the battery only pedals.
The 32 Fuzz doesn't live on a board right now, but that switch will be useful when it does.

Re: 32FZ pedals... formerly the Fuzz Architect
Happened to open up my Fuzz Architect this afternoon and I have number A.7 (I'm sure I read the odd numbered ones had the best tone... ) It's still got the original Panasonic battery in it (the same black/blue one as in Pepe's pedal). The battery is a couple of years past its use by date now....

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals
I tried a klon the other day and I liked it   I guess I never imagined anything could hold its own against an OD-3 so I'll get one as cheap as possible, the real test is at band volume. Yeah, I got on the Klon(e) thing a little later than most. They are really cool, but I do prefer the O...
