Re: BOSS pedal oddities
That's cool, nice to see that the knob locations didn't clash. Love seeing transitional pieces. I have an earlier BF2 (1982ish IIRC) and had a later Japanese one (1989ish). The paint jobs were clearly different, the earlier one looked to have brush strokes vs the much smoother, sprayed look of the ...

Re: New to home recording
Just dawned on me: Do y'all think I should try the BB-1X DI out as an "amp"? Or is it not worth it, I need an amp? I'd try that for sure. I haven't used the BB1X DI out in a recording/studio situation, just once at band practice into the PA. Sounded great. I have two setups with two laptops. One ha...

Re: New Boss Pedal - Plugout FX PX-1
Looks like a cool, pragmatic addition. I can see myself getting one so I can have models of the virtually unobtanium SG1, SP1, PN2... Having the DC2, CS1 and TW1 would be fun, too. Being BOSS compact sized, it's easy to board up, too.

Cool amp!
Follows the popular (and reliable) Peavey and Musicman trend of the late 70s: solid state preamp/tube power amp.

Looks cool! Could oust my MXR/Dunlop UniVibe for a compact sized rotary pedal.

Re: Stewmac light cycle II
Very cool!
I have an original Phasor II I got in a trade in the mid 90s. Been living on the big, cumbersome board ever since.
It's a proper, big, cumbersome pedal, powered with a hardwired AC cable.
Sounds amazing, though!
