Re: Let's see those pedalboards!

How is the JB-2? It's good 8-) Using an LS-2, I used to run a crunch distortion (ZVex Distortron or similar) and a fuzz (Some sort of Muff) in parallel to achieve my drive sound. The JB-2 does the same trick in one pedal instead of three. The sounds it can do, although good, aren't exactly the ones...

Re: Let's see those pedalboards!

My main board is currently receiving an overhaul, so in the meantime I put together this little board. Built in patch bay (4x TRS), modded the board to fit the PSU to one end, added a bridge plate for the tuner, soldered up some custom TRS cables for the EXP inputs. It works a treat :D > PolyTune > ...

Re: New Boss Pedal DD-8 Digital Delay

They've basically just taken the extra digital processing available to them now and thrown a few more modes and a bit longer delay into a DD-7 to give it a slight update. That's not necessarily a bad thing, the DD-7 was amazing when it was first released, and remains a good choice for a solid work h...

Partscaster Evolution

This is a long winded history of my main guitar. I wrote this as a record for myself, but I guess some of you may find this interesting also. Some of these guitars made appearances on SBZ, but that was before the whole Photobucket debacle... (note: I posted this on another forum previously, but have...

Re: New Non-BOSS Pedals

I had an OC-07 many years ago. Definitely one of the best octave pedals out there. Extremely rare here too...

Re: Yamaha Guitars

That is quite an impressive obsession with Yamaha you've got going on there.
I was going to post my SGV300.... but it seems you've already covered those!

Re: EHX Triangle Big Muff Pi Reissue

I can confirm that the recent Green Russian BMP reissue they did was pretty faithful to the originals (of which I have owned quite a few). So if that's anything to go by this reissue is probably worth scooping up if you've always wanted a Triangle Muff but never wanted to fork out the sometimes $100...

That is a particularly classy and pretty LP Laurie. Very nice.

Re: Show Us You Guitar, Bass Collection!

Nice collection Darrin 8-) I have too many guitars, and sadly none of them really get used regularly these days. It would be a major feat to photograph them all. I'll probably only get around to it when I'm selling them off. I'll try to get a picture of the few I actually do use occasionally though ...

Re: Every Boss Pedal You Have!

I don't really use Boss pedals these days (I barely even play guitar), but I have a few which I will probably keep for the foreseeable future: DD-7 (good all round delay, easy and convenient) LS-2 (I have previously sold three of these and always regret it later) CE-2w (I loved my CE-1, but it was b...
