Hi @bearboy I wonder if you got anywhere with this, as I have a very similar issue with a DR-550 I won on eBay, last week.. almost no drum sound - even at full volume.. more ‘noise’ than drum sound..turning up on an audio interface, and boosting in a DAW just makes it worse if anything.. I got refun...
