The headphone out on the MT was dreadful, absolutely useless.

But the voicing of the actual MT amp was better than the MD if you ask me.

This sounds excellent, especially for the price I was so damn surprised. I paid £50 for mine.

I have a Harley Benton 1x12 with a V30, and the ohm mismatch mean I'm probably only using about 10-12watts of the power, but it still sounds loud and blew my mind.

I just repaired a BOSS DD-6 that also had a faulty mode switch. I'm very certain that your PH-3 could be fixed as well.
