Mine is an older one, it's at my practice space so i cant look it over right now. I don't think there's anything special about it though. Made in Taiwan, etc.

If the Unibass was cheap, I would say it's worth a try. But I don't think it's worth $250 and up.

You can see the Unibass has extra options like added 5ths, but it sounds artificial and bad, IMO. And the prices are absurd.
